ADAPTABILITY OF PRIMARY STUDENTS: THEORETICAL RESEARCH AND PROPOSAL FOR A COMPONENT STRUCTURE

Life adaptability is recognized as a specific competency within the Experiential Activities curriculum at the primary level. Despite its formal inclusion in the current curriculum, a systematic and specialized component structure for this competency remains largely undefined, thereby posing significant challenges for teachers in orienting educational content and pedagogical methods. Through theoretical analysis and synthesis, alongside a comparative alignment with the required learning outcomes of the 2018 General Education Program, this study proposes a preliminary adaptability framework comprising two interrelated dimensions: surface-level manifestations and deep-level structures with their respective components. These findings contribute to clarifying the theoretical foundation of the adaptability construct, serving as a vital precursor for subsequent research to develop behavioral indicators and standardized assessment tools for primary school students.
