About the journal

HNUE Journal of Science: Journal of Educational Science (HNUE JoES) is a journal published by Hanoi National University of Education in 1955. The journal is published under the print press license No. 134/GP-BVHTT issued on April 9, 2001, and an amended and supplemented license No. 508/GP-BTTTT issued on November 18, 2016. Additionally, it has been granted an international standard serial number (ISSN 2354-1075) by the National Agency for Science and Technology Information under the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The journal is recognized by the State Professorship Council and awarded a research work evaluation score of 1.0 point. It operates as an open-access journal with a double-blind peer-review process. Since 2026, the journal has published seven issues annually, appearing in January, March, May, June, September, October, and December.

The Journal provides a forum for rigorous and original research that advances knowledge, theory, policy and practice in education. It particularly welcomes studies that connect educational issues in Vietnam, and Southeast Asia and the Global South with broader international debates in educational research. 

The Journal publishes original research articles, review articles, systematic and scoping reviews, methodological papers, comparative studies and theoretically grounded scholarly discussions.

The Journal operates a double-blind peer-review process and is committed to editorial independence, research integrity, transparency and internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing.
