Abstract

Life satisfaction is one of the main indicators of happiness. In Vietnam, research on life satisfaction, particularly among university students, remains limited. Therefore, this study conducted a cross-sectional survey of 583 students at The University of Danang - University of Science and Education using Diener's Satisfaction with Life Scale. The results processed by SPSS software showed that 40.14% of participants were satisfied with life, 6% of students expressed neutral opinions and 53.86% were dissatisfied with life. In particular, the rate of life satisfaction among male students was higher than that among female students (p < 0.001). These findings provide further evidence regarding life satisfaction in among Vietnamese university students and may serve as a basis for proposing measures to prevent problems associated with life dissatisfaction.
