Abstract

Puppets are not only children's favorite toys but also a useful and attractive pedagogical tool to educate children. Using puppets in organizing activities at the soccer field does not bring much meaning to the comprehensive development of children. However, this issue in Vietnam has not yet received proper attention. Using the questionnaire survey method, the study surveyed 374 preschool teachers in Da Nang city about the use of puppets in organizing activities at the soccer field. Through the survey, we found: that teachers are aware of the importance of using puppets as well as the high level of children's increase in using puppets. However, the lack of facilities, the number of children in frozen classes, and the lack of understanding about how puppets are created and how to use them are the biggest barriers to the operations of activist organizations. The research results can create a basis for producing measures to use puppets in organizing activities in preschools to meet the innovative requirements of today's preschool education program.
