DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION FOR ENHANCING STUDENTS’ EXPERIENCES: A CASE STUDY OF A KEY PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Digital transformation in higher education has received increasing attention recently. This paper discusses the implementation process of digital transformation at a key pedagogical university using a single-case research approach. The study provides a comprehensive account of how digitalization has been applied in a real-life context. The research results show that the university has focused on digitalizing business processes and enhancing e-learning. It has fostered a culture of technology application in its operations, which has significantly benefited students by providing more convenient e-learning experiences. While the initial positive outcomes indicate that digital transformation presents an opportunity for universities, fully integrating digital technology into every aspect of the organization and achieving a comprehensive transformation of the operating model remain challenges.
