BUILDING AND EXPERIMENTAL USING LISTENING PRACTICE GAMES FOR HEARING-IMPAIRED CHILDREN AGED 3-6 ON THE WORDWALL PLATFORM

Hearing-impaired children face many challenges in receiving information through the auditory system. Listening practice games provide positive engagement, helping children develop listening skills and creating a foundation for spoken language development. The Wordwall platform is an educational website that supports teaching and learning, enabling teachers to design interactive exercises and games for their lessons. This article analyzes the theoretical and practical basis for building listening practice games for hearing-impaired children ages 3-6 on the Wordwall platform, outlining principles, building process, and introducing 39 listening practice games for hearing-impaired children, corresponding to four specific listening skills: sound detection, sound discrimination, sound identification, and comprehension of spoken sounds. The article also analyzes the experimental results using these games with a specific case of a hearing-impaired child.
