Abstract

In the present era of digitalization, digital competence has become a vital criterion for teachers. In particular, for the "Substances and transformation of substances" content, which is included in the Natural Science subject under the framework of 2018 General Education Program, there is much abstract information that needs to be taught. In this regard, the present research has created and implemented a unique digital learning ecosystem for the above content. This has been done with the aim of supporting the work of teachers during their teaching activities as much as possible. The research has involved the implementation of a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design using 97 secondary school teachers across the country. There was a positive change in the fields of self-assessed digital competence, especially in the field of digital instruction organization and empowering learners.
