Abstract

The article focuses on researching and analyzing the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in intervening for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The main scientific contents include using AI to early detect signs of ASD, analyzing data and recognizing emotions; personalizing learning and interventions based on each child's individual needs; using educational robots such as NAO, Pepper, and KASPAR to develop communication skills, social skills, emotional skills, and sensory skills for children with ASD. The article also emphasizes the role of AI in managing emotions and behaviors through facial and voice recognition technology, while monitoring and evaluating children's learning progress through smart wearable devices. In particular, the article analyzes the context of AI application in education in Vietnam, addressing the potential of this technology in reducing barriers and improving the quality of life for children with ASD. Additionally, the article highlights challenges related to information security and ethical considerations.
