Đạo đức nghề nghiệp là nền tảng cốt lõi của công tác xã hội (CTXH), định hướng hành vi và quyết định chuyên môn của nhân viên xã hội. Trong bối cảnh công nghệ số phát triển mạnh mẽ, việc tích hợp công nghệ vào thực hành CTXH đã tạo ra những cơ hội mới nhưng cũng đặt ra nhiều thách thức đạo đức chưa từng có, như vấn đề bảo mật, ranh giới nghề nghiệp, sự đồng thuận có hiểu biết, năng lực chuyên môn. Mặc dù ở Việt Nam đã có quy định đạo đức nghề CTXH (Thông tư 01/2017/TT-BLĐTBXH), song các nội dung vẫn còn chung chung và thiếu hướng dẫn thực hành cụ thể về đạo đức trong môi trường công nghệ. Dựa trên phương pháp phân tích tài liệu (với tổng quan 87 tài liệu được xác định, 35 tài liệu tiến hành phân tích sâu), bài viết đã tập trung đánh giá bối cảnh thực hành CTXH trong thời đại công nghệ số, những thách thức đạo đức phát sinh trong quá trình thực hành nghề. Trên cơ sở đó, gợi mở những định hướng xây dựng nền tảng đạo đức nghề toàn diện và thích ứng trong thực hành CTXH chuyên nghiệp trong thời đại số tại Việt Nam.
