Hanoi National University of Education Journal of Science  is a scholarly publication of Hanoi National University of Education, established in 1955 with the mission of disseminating original research across a broad range of scientific disciplines.

The journal is licensed for print publication under License No. 134/GP-BVHTT dated April 9, 2001, with subsequent revisions and supplements under License No. 1814/GP-BTTTT dated October 2, 2012, and License No. 366/BTTT-CBC dated February 7, 2025.

As an open-access journal, it employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and integrity of its publications. Each issue features full-length research articles—both from domestic and international authors—centered around a specific thematic area such as Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, or Educational Sciences.

The journal aims to foster academic exchange and contribute to the advancement of science and education by providing a platform for high-quality, peer-reviewed research.

    The HNUE Journal of Science: Educational Sciences  was approved by the National Department of Science and Technology Information under the Ministry of Science and Technology to issue the international standard code ISSN 2354-1075. The journal is graded 1 point by the State Council of Professors.     HNUE Journal of Science: Natural Sciences (HNUEJS.NS) has the international standard series number ISSN: 2354-1059, publish original research in natural sciences and engineering including mathematics, biology, chemistry, informatics, geographics and physics. This journal is indexed by the State Council for Professor of Vietnam for publications in Biology , Geography,  Physics and Chemistry as 0.75/1.0 points, and  0.5/1.0 points for publications in Mathematics and Information Technology. HNUEJS.NS  publishes quarterly in March, June, September and December.

The journal has been awarded points by the State Professor Council for various academic fields: Literature 1.0 point, Psychology 1.0 point, Education 1.0 point; interdisciplinary fields such as Earth Science - Mining 0.75 point, History - Archaeology - Ethnology 1.0 point; Linguistics 0.75 point; Philosophy - Political Science - Sociology 0.25 point. The journal is published quarterly, with four issues annually in February, May, August, and November.
