Acetyl tetrapeptide-3, a raw material for cosmetic production, was successfully synthesized on the laboratory scale with a high level of purity using the solid-phase peptide synthesis technique. Analysis by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) confirmed that the yield of acetyl tetrapeptide-3 was over 56% with a purity of 100%. This study supports the development of hair loss and scalp care products incorporating acetyl tetrapeptide-3 as a key active agent.
