RESEARCHING CELEBRITY IN THE MEDIEVAL TIME: A CASE STUDY OF CELEBRITY NGUYEN TRAI

Abstract

The article studies the outstanding characteristics of famous Vietnamese figures in the medieval period: multi-talented individuals who made significant contributions to the nation in many fields, embodying the concept of "our historical figures in today's context" From there, the paper proposes the viewpoint and method of a case study of the historical figure Nguyen Trai. Regarding Nguyen Trai's research perspective: a genius who converges many talents, a figure who made great contributions to the nation, and a historical figure of international stature. Regarding Nguyen Trai's research methodology, I will place the author and works in a broader frame of reference, conduct a esearch of the problems raised by his works, and place the author and his workw in the context of his current time and future. Studying the case of Nguyen Trai promotes the role of "our historical figures in today's context" drawing from medieval famous people in general and Nguyen Trai in particular.
