The approach of interaction between art forms is already common in creative writing and literary research. With the development of comparative literature, the trend of interdisciplinary research opens up the possibility of approaching literary works in diverse interactions with other art forms. By comparing the novel Blindness by José Saramago and the novel The City sentenced to disappear by Tran Trong Vu, the interaction mechanism, the variety of aesthetic effects, and the ability to reflect reality in the mixture of genres Literary and artistic images will be explained. The article combines the systematic method when considering literature and painting as members of the art family using the comparative method when pointing out differences based on similarities in mechanism typological interaction in the novels of the two writers.
